Key investigation contents
Item 1: Attitude towards children's entrepreneurship
Data: Attitude towards children's entrepreneurship: 45%, 28%, 27%.
Interpretation: The proportion of respondents supporting their children's entrepreneurship in economically developed areas is significantly higher than that in general areas and poverty-stricken areas; The proportion of respondents who support their children to start businesses in cities is significantly higher than that in rural areas. This shows that the degree of economic development has a great influence on parents' ideas. These parents can realize the importance of entrepreneurship and give greater support to their children's entrepreneurship. The degree of support for children's entrepreneurship is also related to the education level of the respondents. Parents with college or undergraduate education are more supportive of college students' entrepreneurship, parents with lower education level are not supportive or indifferent to students' entrepreneurship, and parents with master's degree or above are not very supportive of students' entrepreneurship. This shows that the level of cultural quality directly affects parents' employment concept, while parents with high educational level encourage their children to continue their studies or engage in professional-related work, but the proportion of supporting their children to start businesses is not high. Whether parents have entrepreneurial experience also has a great influence on their children's entrepreneurship. Parents with entrepreneurial experience obviously support their children's entrepreneurship.
The second item: the most direct reason for making a decision to support children's entrepreneurship.
Data: The reasons for supporting children's entrepreneurship and decision-making are: 23% employment pressure, 24% being driven by others, 16% being able to help children, 12% getting more benefits, and 24% having strong entrepreneurial interest and desire to realize their own value.
Interpretation: 89 people, accounting for 23% of the total number of people surveyed, chose employment pressure as the most direct reason for parents to make a decision to support their children's entrepreneurship. This is mainly because the number of college graduates continues to increase. Coupled with the social environment, such as the arrival of the financial crisis, a large number of graduates flock to the market, and some graduates can't find jobs, or they can't find suitable jobs in a short time, so it is reasonable to choose to start a business. The number of people who choose to be driven by others is 48, accounting for 13%. 57 people chose to help their children, accounting for 16%. 43 people chose to get more benefits, accounting for 12% of the total. The number of people who choose to realize their children's own value and have strong entrepreneurial interest and desire is 86 and 42 respectively, accounting for 24% and 12% respectively. These two options are the reasons why parents support their children's entrepreneurship in the survey. Through analysis, these two parents generally think that it is better for their children to work for others than for themselves, and their careers will be more passionate and devoted, thus making it easier to succeed. At the same time, they also believe that "entrepreneurship" is a profession in itself. At the peak of employment, giving children a broader world and realizing self-worth is the best way to prove their children. A very important purpose of modern college students' entrepreneurship is to realize themselves while taking into account economic profits and social responsibilities. In other words, entrepreneurship is not for entrepreneurship, but for self-worth, which is the charm of entrepreneurship.
Item 3: Reasons for not supporting children's entrepreneurship
Interpretation: In the survey of the biggest obstacles that do not support children's entrepreneurship, the lack of funds has become the first factor that hinders college students' entrepreneurship. In addition, there are no suitable entrepreneurial channels and investment projects, and the proportion of employment before starting a business is also high. Other interfering factors are: all kinds of accidents are too risky, the feasibility is not high, and there is no management experience. 29% parents think that capital is the biggest bottleneck of starting a business, which reflects that a large proportion of parents and students are eager to get start-up capital. In addition, 18% of parents think that the road to starting a business is very difficult and they need to master the knowledge of business model and profit model. The most important thing is to do it down-to-earth in order to succeed. Therefore, they are willing to let their children get employment first, and then consider whether to start a business after accumulating enough ability and level. There are four reasons why parents don't support their children's entrepreneurship: lack of suitable entrepreneurial channels and investment projects, various unexpected risks, low feasibility and lack of management experience, accounting for 18%, 15%, 14% and 6% respectively. This part of parents think that college students have ideals and ambitions, but their eyes are high and their eyes are low. In the process of starting a business, they lack the experience and relevant knowledge of market development. Entrepreneurship is not a temporary solution to employment, but a way to make a profit, which has great unexpected risks and even the danger of "losing all your money". Entrepreneurship cannot be based on an idea or an idea, but should take into account management, marketing costs and other aspects. If there are no suitable entrepreneurial channels and investment projects, entrepreneurship is doomed to failure. (Author: Hebei Tangshan Vocational and Technical College)
