Conditions for applying for student living allowance
Legal analysis: college students applying for subsistence allowances should meet the following conditions:

(1) Honest and trustworthy, law-abiding;

(2) Freshmen or college students who have been officially approved by the state to set up full-time undergraduate colleges, higher vocational schools and colleges (including private colleges and independent colleges) to implement higher education, and have obtained a true, legal and effective admission notice;

(3) The pre-school household registration of students and their parents (or other legal guardians) should be in the county (city, district).

Legal basis: Article 12 of the Interim Measures for Social Assistance stipulates that the civil affairs department of the people's government at the county level shall pay the minimum living allowance to the families approved to receive the minimum living allowance on a monthly basis according to the difference between the per capita income of family members living together and the local minimum living allowance. The local people's governments at or above the county level shall take necessary measures to ensure the life of the elderly, minors, severely disabled people and seriously ill patients who still have difficulties after receiving the minimum living guarantee.
