Yantai Institute of Technology, formerly known as School of Literature and Economics of Yantai University, is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province. The school was founded in 2003, and in 20021year, it was transformed into an independent full-time ordinary undergraduate college with the approval of the education administrative department of the State Council.
2. Teachers:
There are 786 full-time teachers, of whom 38.8% have the titles of professor and associate professor, and about 84.5% have doctoral and master's degrees. At present, the school has 7 experts who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council, young and middle-aged experts who have made outstanding contributions in Shandong Province, provincial famous teachers and 1 provincial outstanding teachers.

With the deepening of educational reform and opening up, the school has accelerated the pace of foreign exchange and opening up. In 2008, the school was approved by the Provincial Department of Education to accept foreign students; 20 10 was approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs to be qualified to employ foreign experts.
20 17 International Education Exchange College was established, integrating resources such as Sino-German cooperation in running schools, international classes in business administration, and education for international students, so as to provide teachers and students with a broader space for international development.
