Mr. Huang Yongnian, a member of the editorial board of China Historical Research, attended kindergarten and primary school in Changzhou in his childhood, which has nothing to do with his family background. It was Lv Simian's "Solving Difficult Problems" that introduced Huang Yongnian to the academic circles. This book was bought at the stall occupied by Changzhou in the early days of the Anti-Japanese War. Then when I was studying in Wujin County Junior Middle School, I found some ancient books to read by myself, and I also passed the exam of learning to write classical Chinese.
Less than half a year after high school, I went to Suzhou Middle School and Shanghai School. When I was a sophomore, I was admitted to Changzhou Branch of Suzhou Middle School, which is located in the suburb of Changzhou and is not under the jurisdiction of the enemy and puppet troops. I was lucky enough to listen to the China language and national history taught by Mr. Lv Simian, as well as the four courses of China cultural history and an introduction to Chinese studies, which was equivalent to going to a university. At the same time, I learned Gu Jiegang's Discrimination of Ancient History from Mr. Lv Simian. After reading it, I was convinced that the Three Emperors and Five Emperors and Yu Xia were not historical facts of water conservancy, so I learned accurate textual research methods.
Later, I got to know Mr. Shuye Tong, who together with Mr. Lv Simian edited the seventh volume of Ancient History. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, I met Mr. Gu Jiegang and became their student. As for the study of the literature and history of the Tang Dynasty, I gave up the Nanjing part of Central University before the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and re-entered Fudan University. I bought the Political History of the Tang Dynasty by Mr. Chen Yinque at that time, which made him jump out of the trap of discussing history with loyalty and justice. However, Huang Yongnian does not blindly worship authority. In the articles published at that time, there was a discussion on Mr. Chen's "body odor and Hu odor".
After liberation, he wrote a graduation thesis about the Tang Dynasty in Hebei Province, which also denied Mr. Chen's theory that the nine surname Hu was the main force of the Anshi Rebellion. Mr. Huang Yongnian has extensive knowledge and broad vision, and his profound literary foundation is rare in contemporary academic circles. He has devoted himself to research and works for decades, and has made great achievements in many research fields, such as history, China ancient literature, ancient philology and so on. He is not only a famous expert in ancient Chinese history, especially the history of Sui and Tang Dynasties, literature of Tang Dynasty, classical poems and novels, but also has made pioneering contributions in the fields of edition, bibliography, inscriptions and ancient books collation, and is a master of ancient philology.
Mr. Huang Yongnian studied under historical masters Mr. Lv Simian, Mr. Gu Jiegang and Mr. Shuye Tong. He is a famous scholar with a long history. His papers published as early as when he was studying in university attracted the attention of academic circles and were praised by the famous historian Mr. Chen Yinke. During his career of nearly sixty years, he never stopped writing, even when he was wrongly labeled as a rightist, he still did not give up his academic pursuit. During this period, he wrote some articles about the economy of the Tang Dynasty and the calligraphy of inscriptions, which were not published until after the Cultural Revolution. From 1980s to early 1990s, Mr. Huang Yongnian was mainly engaged in Tang Shi studies, as well as classical poems and novels. Study the change of Xuanwu Gate, Wu Zhou regime and its influence, eunuchs and imperial army, the political situation of Soviet Dynasty, the change, the political situation of two kings and eight horses, and the party struggle in the late Yuan Dynasty. It is clear that these are nothing more than power struggles, not the gentry struggles among the common people.
In the middle and late 1990s, Mr. Huang Yongnian returned to Beiqi, Beizhou and Yangsui to discuss the historical events of this period. Obviously, the Northern Zhou Dynasty was behind the Northern Qi Dynasty, so it was regarded as barbarians. The demise of the Northern Zhou Dynasty only depended on the backwardness of officers and men and the swallowing of the advanced. However, when the Sui Dynasty opened the emperor, the government soldiers lost their fighting capacity, and the Guanlong Group, which was a combination of civil and military, ceased to exist from the Sui Dynasty to the early Tang Dynasty. Among them, there are still many similarities and differences with Mr. Chen Yinque's old theory.
In the aspect of classical literature, he wrote "Wen Yi Qian Shi" and "A New Interpretation of Song of Eternal Sorrow", found the only remaining pages of the newly edited red and white spider novel in Yuan Dynasty, and made corrections to The Journey to the West's book, and verified the writing process and edition origin of The Journey to the West, as well as the true colors of The Journey to the West Jinding.
Mr. Huang Yongnian pays attention to guiding academic research with Marxist historical view, resisting vulgar methods such as "making the past serve the present" and paying attention to solving practical problems in historical research. Many research results, with detailed historical materials, careful textual research and incisive opinions, have aroused widespread concern and attention in academic circles. Most of his academic papers are included in the published Textual Research of Tang Shi, Exploration of Literature and History, Literature and History Preservation, and Literature and History Review, especially his representative work, The Political History of China from the 6th to the 9th Century, which condensed his decades of painstaking research on medieval history and systematically investigated a series of events and systems with great influence from the Northern Dynasties to the middle and late Tang Dynasty. With his keen historical insight, comprehensive and profound literature knowledge and meticulous textual research methods, he not only clarified many eternal mysteries, greatly expanded his in-depth understanding of some important historical facts in this period, but also filled the gaps in the study of the history of the Northern Dynasties and the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Moreover, from the macro perspective of historical development, some original new viewpoints are put forward, which represent the highest level of studying the political history of this period and fully show the demeanor of a generation of historians.
Mr. Huang Yongnian participated in the establishment and construction of the discipline system of ancient philology, and wrote many books, such as Introduction to the Arrangement of Ancient Books, Edition of Ancient Books, Four Lectures on Ancient Philology, Brief History of the Department, Brief History of the Department, Historical Materials of Tang Shi, etc. He enjoyed a high reputation and was selected as a teaching material by many famous universities in China, which played an important role in the training of philology talents. Mr. Huang is also actively engaged in the collation of ancient books, carefully proofreading many ancient books such as Chang 'an Annals, Lu Yong and The Journey to the West, which are of high quality and can be called authoritative editions.
Mr. Huang Yongnian worked hard to popularize the knowledge of ancient literature and history, and presided over the completion of the complete translation of the old Tang book and the complete translation of the new Tang book in the key project of the State Education Commission. He also wrote a series of Old Tang Books, New Tang Books and Li Shimin of Emperor Taizong for the motherland. He also undertook the selection and translation of six books, including Old Tang Books, in the Selected Translation Series of Ancient Literary and Historical Masterpieces, which became a typical masterpiece of this kind of reading. Mr Huang Yongnian is a model of teaching and educating people. He is the founder of historical philology in Shaanxi Normal University. Since 1979, China has been enrolled as a master of ancient history in Tang Shi, and since 1982, it has been instructed by the Ministry to enroll as a master of historical philology, with nearly 100 handed down disciples.
Mr. Huang Yongnian has successively offered courses such as Bibliography, Edition, Inscription, Introduction to Literature and History Reference Books, Introduction to Ancient Books Arrangement, Tang Shi Historical Materials, Research on Old Tang Books, Research on Taiping Guangji, Research on Wu Meicun Poetry, Special Topics on Sui and Tang History (Political Part) and Special Topics on Sui and Tang History (Economic and Cultural Part).
These courses and knowledge were not directly taught by any teacher in those years, but were established by Mr. Huang Yongnian's self-study for many years. Among them, Historical Materials of Tang Shi, An Introduction to the Arrangement of Ancient Books, Edition of Ancient Books and Four Lectures on Ancient Literature, including bibliography, edition, inscriptions and reference books on literature and history, have been published and will be published soon.
Mr. Huang Yongnian's lectures are rich in content, well versed in ancient and modern times, inspiring, simple and enlightening. Many of the students he trained have become leaders of academic circles and pillars of the country, and the knowledge he taught has been imitated by others. He advocated the fine tradition of rigorous scholarship and simple style of study. Celebrities in Shaanxi seal cutting are bustling, and few people know Mr. Huang Yongnian. In fact, he is a man who has won the honor of Shaanxi seal cutting for a long time. 1987 Calligraphy Volume, edited by the famous calligrapher Mr. Sha Menghai, is an excellent collection of books reflecting the achievements and history of China's new literature and art since the May 4th Movement. The selection criteria are strict, and only 100 companies in China were selected for seal cutting, only Huang Yongnian and Shaanxi. Among these four people, besides Zhao Xiong, three others are little known in Shaanxi.
Shaanxi seal cutting is characterized by "melodramatic eccentricity", and few people in Shaanxi seal cutting circles learn from Mr. Huang Yongnian. Mr. Huang Yongnian's seal has two characteristics: first, at first glance, it is not infiltrated by the breath of the land of Sanqin, showing a barbaric trend, but at second glance, it is neither arrogant nor impetuous. Second, you can feel the author's warm and kind heart and clean and tidy personality through repeated appreciation.
The Seal of Cao Boyong (Cao Boyong is a famous calligrapher in Shaanxi, a professor at Shaanxi Normal University, and a inheritor of Guan Xue, with profound knowledge; Long education, peaches and plums all over the world; I'm seventy years old, but I'm still writing and writing. This seal is the most suitable for Mr. Cao's calligraphy style, that is, it is angular but does not hurt people.
Chen Ze three fat, (Chen Zeqin, Zi Zimo, Shaanxi calligrapher. He was rigorous and knowledgeable all his life. He is good at poetry and calligraphy, especially at identifying rare books, cultural relics and calligraphy and painting. His artistic style of calligraphy is simple and beautiful. He creatively developed the form of official script, and finally established the historical position of his official script style in the history of calligraphy development in China, becoming a contemporary calligraphy master renowned at home and abroad. ) and Chen Lao's calligraphy match well. Chen Lao's handwriting is oblique and free and easy. This seal is steady and weighty!
Huang Yongnian's printing was published by Zhonghua Book Company in 2004. This book contains two parts: the author's printing and the author's understanding of seal cutting. Most of the prints are private seals and seals engraved by the author for friends. Seal cutting is a part of the author's lecture, which can improve readers' understanding of seal cutting. 1. Mr. Huang Yongnian was honest and frank all his life, upright and upright, and hated evil as hatred. Although his life is bumpy, his ambition is growing. Mr. Wang has served all his life, as he himself said: "Scientific research is to produce more achievements, contribute to academic construction and win glory for the country;" Teaching is to train young people to succeed and surpass their predecessors. As for other gains and losses, they are all external things. "Believe it! He devoted himself wholeheartedly to academic research and worked tirelessly. He devoted his life to cultivating talents and tirelessly taught and educated people.

People listening to China Bookstore said that as long as it is an ancient book bought by Mr. Huang, it is cheap to add a zero to the price. "
