Dean Xu Weiguo

1952 Born in party member, Master of Medicine, Doctor of Management, Professor of Health Management and Respiratory Medicine, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Dean of Xinhua Hospital affiliated to School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Deputy Director of Medical Nutrition Department. He has been engaged in hospital management and clinical work in respiratory medicine for a long time, and is good at strategic management of hospital talents and research on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was invited to study in San Antonio University Hospital, Texas, USA.

He presided over 7 scientific research projects at all levels, such as "Study on the Influence of Nutrition Metabolism on the Pathogenesis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease" and "Study on the Construction of Modern Hospital Talents Team", including 3 soft management projects, published 48 papers in national core journals, and edited and participated in 6 academic monographs. Over the years, he has served as the director of China Hospital Association, the vice chairman of China Hospital Management magazine, the deputy editor of China Hospital Dean magazine, the standing editorial board of Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine and the vice chairman of Shanghai Health Management Research Association, and won the Shanghai Education System Health Management Achievement Award for three times. Because of his outstanding performance in fighting SARS, he was awarded the title of model worker in Shanghai health system.

1964 Born in party member, doctor of medicine, chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, special allowance expert of the State Council. Secretary of the Party Committee of Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Dean of Xinhua Children's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Dean of Pediatric Continuing Education College of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Director of Pediatrics of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. 1985 graduated from Wenzhou medical college, Zhejiang province; 1987 was admitted to Shanghai second medical university to study for a master's degree; 1998 received a doctorate from Shanghai second medical university. 1999 promoted to chief physician and professor. 1997 and 1999 went to Grantham Hospital of Hong Kong University and Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard University. In 2004, he studied in the School of Public Health and the School of Public Policy of the University of California, Berkeley.
