Beiyang Garden, located in Tianjin University, is an "open-air museum", which integrates the historical vicissitudes of famous schools, squares, sculptures, gardens and fountains. Beiyang Garden was built at the request of our alumni to welcome our centenary celebration. The first phase of the project was completed on the eve of 1995, and all the funds needed for the construction project were donated by alumni, which reflected the deep friendship of alumni at home and abroad to their alma mater. The bronze statue of Mr Ma Yinchu was completed at the same time.
