I. Training objectives
Cultivate high-level professionals who are "oriented to modernization, the world and the future" and meet the needs of China's modernization and social development. The specific requirements are:
1. Adhere to the Four Cardinal Principles, persist in reform and opening up, love the motherland, abide by the law, have a rigorous and realistic ideological style, good moral quality, strong professionalism and pioneering spirit.
2. Master the solid basic theory and systematic professional knowledge in the field of agricultural economic management; Familiar with the knowledge of related disciplines, understand the development trends of this discipline at home and abroad, especially the knowledge related to this direction. Be able to skillfully apply economic and management theories to the practice of socialist market economy construction, and have the ability to independently analyze and solve practical economic and management problems by combining quantitative and qualitative methods; Can adapt to the needs of social development for compound talents and be good at interdisciplinary cooperation. After graduation, I can be competent in the management business of relevant government economic management departments and various enterprises, or in the teaching and scientific research work of colleges and universities.

Second, the study period and time schedule
Postgraduates of this major enter the school every autumn, and the study period is 2.5 years. The first three semesters are used for course study and independent extracurricular reading, and the fourth and fifth semesters are used for teaching practice, research practice, writing dissertation and defense thesis.
Third, the research direction
Agricultural economic management is an interdisciplinary specialty based on modern agricultural economic theory and management theory and using quantitative analysis method as a tool to study the development law of agricultural economic management system.
This major has four directions, namely:
1. agricultural economic management direction: based on macroeconomic theory and modern management theory, through qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, reveal the path and law in the process of agricultural economic development.
2. Direction of agricultural products trade: including domestic agricultural products circulation and international trade. Based on the theory of international trade, international division of labor and international competition, this paper looks for the differences between agricultural products trade and other products trade, and provides policy suggestions for improving the international competitiveness of agricultural products in China and promoting the rapid development of agriculture in China.
3. Agricultural enterprise management: take township enterprises as the main research object, take modern international SME development theory as the guidance, comprehensively learn the experience of foreign SMEs, and cultivate SME management talents who adapt to the international environment and are familiar with domestic agricultural development conditions.
4. Management direction of rural cooperative economy: Based on the cooperative economy specialty of our school, according to the modern cooperative economy development theory and combined with the development experience of foreign cooperatives, cultivate high-quality, high-level, capable and managerial cooperative management talents.
Fourth, the cultivation methods and methods
1. The tutor shall be jointly selected and determined by teachers and students within two months after the graduate students enter the school, and a postgraduate training plan shall be made under the guidance of the tutor, which shall be submitted to graduate department for the record.
2. Give full play to the leading role of tutors in guiding graduate students, and establish and improve the training mechanism that is conducive to giving full play to the role of academic groups in line with the principle of combining personal guidance with collective training of tutors.
3. Give full play to the initiative and consciousness of graduate students, flexibly adopt various teaching methods such as heuristic and seminar according to the characteristics of the course, and strengthen the training and cultivation of graduate students' self-study ability, expression ability, writing ability and practical work ability.
4. Take course teaching (including lectures, discussions and case analysis) as the main method, and combine it with students' self-study, social investigation, teaching practice, project research and thesis writing to cultivate graduate students. Each course should be assigned a bibliography.
5. It is necessary to strictly assess, establish and improve the elimination system, and ensure the quality of postgraduate training.
V. Curriculum and credit requirements
This training scheme adopts the combination of class hour system and credit system to arrange teaching and courses. Courses are divided into public compulsory courses, professional compulsory courses, elective courses, make-up classes and practical learning activities. Postgraduates of this major must complete 42 credits within the specified study period, including: course study 38 credits (including compulsory courses and elective courses), teaching practice 1 credit, scientific research practice 1 credit. Those who have not completed the course credits may not write dissertations, participate in dissertations and apply for master's degrees; If you don't complete all the credits, you may not be eligible for graduation. The compulsory courses for graduate students in our school include public compulsory courses and professional compulsory courses, and the compulsory courses for recruitment include: socialist economic theory, public English, intermediate western economics, etc. Specialized compulsory courses include: China agricultural economic development research, agricultural products trade research and other courses. To study for a master's degree, you must complete the required course credits stipulated in the professional training plan within one and a half years.
2. Elective courses
Elective courses for graduate students in our college include limited courses and elective courses. Postgraduates studying for a master's degree must take five elective courses and complete the selected elective credits within one and a half years.
Compulsory courses for all majors can also be used as elective courses for other majors. Elective courses can be taken across the year, and the credits remain unchanged.
Makeup class
If the graduate student is a junior college student or a non-economic management undergraduate before entering the school, he must also make up the undergraduate courses prescribed by this major on the basis of completing the total credits. The auxiliary courses are: management and marketing.
Make-up course credits are not included in the total credits.
VI. Practical and Scientific Research Ability
1. Scientific research practice
The research practice of graduate students in this major mainly includes short-term internship, academic year survey and graduation survey, attending academic seminars and writing and publishing papers. Short-term internship is usually 1-2 days or 2-3 times intermittently, arranged by the teacher; Social research in the school year, usually 7- 10 days, mainly focuses on a special topic, requiring to write a survey report of more than 3,000 words, and the tutor will give the results; Graduation research practice, from the fourth semester, usually1-February, requires close integration with my dissertation. Graduate students should fill in the application form for scientific research internship and make internship plans (including internship projects, internship purposes, internship methods and time arrangements, etc. Under the guidance of the tutor, it will be implemented under the guidance of the tutor, with the consent of the tutor, the approval of IFAD and the record of the graduate school. After the internship, students should complete the research internship on time.
