The postgraduate major of control science and engineering in Changchun University of Technology is an on-the-job postgraduate major under the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It has four undergraduate majors: automation, electrical engineering and automation, measurement and control technology and instruments, and biomedical engineering, and three first-class disciplines: control science and engineering, electrical engineering and instrument science and technology. This subject trains senior professionals engaged in scientific research, development and engineering application of production process modeling, signal detection, intelligent control system, networked measurement and control devices and systems, advanced control and optimization, industrial energy-saving control and other technologies. In-service master's degree winners in this major must master the solid basic theory and systematic professional knowledge of this subject, understand the latest development trends in the field of automatic control, creatively study and solve theoretical and practical problems related to this subject, have certain ability to engage in scientific research and management independently, master a foreign language skillfully, read professional documents skillfully, and have certain foreign language writing ability and international academic exchange ability.

In the long-term theoretical teaching, postgraduate training and scientific research practice, seven stable research directions have been formed:

1, low energy consumption manufacturing process information acquisition and product quality control

Facing the discrete and process industries, aiming at the energy-saving needs of high energy-consuming industries such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry and electric power, this paper studies energy-saving principles, develops energy-saving technologies in production processes and power systems, builds an energy information measurement monitoring network for high energy-consuming enterprises, and studies and applies technologies such as network communication, information fusion, system modeling and forecasting optimization to realize automatic monitoring and statistics of energy consumption information.

2, production process information collection and intelligent control

This paper mainly studies the new principles, methods and technologies of obtaining key information in the production process, as well as the development of instruments, devices and system prototypes. In mechanical equipment fault diagnosis technology based on multi-sensor information fusion, process parameter soft-sensing technology based on sensor information, product quality control technology based on production process information and micro-power design technology of measuring instruments, etc.

3, intelligent machinery and robot control

This paper mainly studies the kinematics, dynamics and control of all kinds of intelligent machinery and robot systems, and studies the application of advanced control theories and methods such as robust control, fuzzy control, neural network control and robust fault-tolerant control in motion control systems, the perception and decision-making system of mobile robots, environmental modeling and path planning, and the coordinated control of multi-agent systems.

4. Modeling, optimization and control of complex control system.

Closely combined with modern integrated manufacturing system, robot manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing technologies and the development needs of high-tech represented by aerospace technology, the modeling methodology and simulation technology of complex systems, advanced control theory and system design method, multi-objective optimization theory and method of complex systems, distributed information processing and intelligent robot control technology are studied.

5, advanced control technology and application

Based on the typical complex industrial production process, the application of advanced control theories and methods such as predictive control, sliding mode variable structure control and fuzzy neural control in complex industrial production processes such as smelting, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical and chemical industry is studied, which provides theoretical basis and effective solutions for solving complex industrial process control problems.

6. Intelligent information detection technology and system

Focusing on intelligent control and intelligent information detection and processing, this paper studies the intelligent information detection, processing and transmission in the process of data acquisition, transmission, processing and display. In addition, we also study digital communication system, computer communication system and intelligent communication instruments and equipment, and study soft-sensing technology and intelligent transmission, conversion, storage and processing of industrial process data.

7. Intelligent control system and network

This paper mainly studies the realization and application technology of intelligent control algorithm in detection devices and systems, and the product development and application of distributed control system (DCS) and distributed measurement and control system (FCS) based on industrial field network and instruments, devices and systems based on field bus technology.
