The Drama Department of China Theatre Academy was established in 1980. In the past 3 1 year, a large number of talents in drama literature creation and management have been trained for the country. Graduates are active in the field of literature and art today and have achieved fruitful results. As the only teaching unit whose main task is to cultivate talents for opera creation, the development of the Department of Opera Literature is of great significance to the inheritance and innovation of China opera literature. In the long-term teaching practice, the drama department has formed the school-running concept of "based on tradition and facing modernity". In teaching, we not only pay attention to the study and inheritance of traditional culture and art, but also inject new knowledge into the teaching content according to the needs of modern society to establish a reasonable knowledge structure for students. At the same time, pay attention to the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovative consciousness in teaching.
Drama, film and television literature major: With the goal of cultivating talents in drama, film and television creation and theory, we strive to cultivate students into high-quality talents with high cultural and artistic accomplishment, who can master the basic theory and knowledge of drama literature and master the basic skills of literary creation. After graduation, I can work in professional art colleges, film and television, news, education, scientific research and other units.
The drama department has a strong faculty, with a group of professors and associate professors with high teaching ability and academic strength, most of whom have doctoral or master's degrees. At the same time, a stable team of external teachers has been established to make full use of teachers at home and abroad to improve the teaching level of our department. In addition, our department regularly invites famous experts and scholars at home and abroad to teach, and has established close ties with many art colleges at home and abroad with an open school-running concept.
Current leader of the drama department: director Xie Bailiang, secretary of the Party branch directly under the Ministry, deputy director Zou, deputy director. Party branches directly under the Department of Traditional Chinese Opera include teachers' party branches and students' party branches. There are 33 people in party member, including 9 teachers party member and 24 students party member.
