Turner's Map Reading is a practical teaching material based on the different requirements of People's Republic of China (PRC) National Professional Standards Implementation Manual and Turner's National Professional Standards for junior, middle and senior Turner's map reading skills, and aimed at the training and appraisal of Turner's professional skills in China at present. Starting from the general provisions of the national standards for mechanical drawing, this paper introduces the basic knowledge of mechanical drawing such as three-dimensional projection, drawing method and drawing annotation. Then, according to three parts: primary lathe drawing skills, intermediate lathe drawing skills and advanced lathe drawing skills, this paper introduces in detail the drawing reading method of parts working drawing and machining process drawing, and introduces the drawing reading method of assembly drawing by taking the main structure of lathe as an example. Based on a lathe worker's ability to read mechanical drawing at different stages and the knowledge of mechanical drawing and descriptive geometry that he needs to master step by step, the principle is practical and the latest national standard of mechanical drawing is used as the writing guide.
