Tsinghua University, abbreviated as "Tsinghua", is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is also the national "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project". It has been selected as a member of the Pacific Rim University Alliance, the Tsinghua-Cambridge-MIT Low-carbon University Alliance and a base for high-level personnel training and scientific and technological research in China.
