University minor
You can take as many courses as you want, as long as you can learn. The major in a university is not a certain subject, but many subjects in a certain major, and the minor is based on a certain major, not a certain subject. For example, electronic information engineering majors include advanced mathematics, linear algebra, engineering mathematics (generally divided into Fourier transform, Laplace transform and complex variable function), college physics, circuit analysis, analog circuit, digital circuit, microcomputer principle, single chip microcomputer, C language and C++, and some schools also require this major to learn embedded and DSP (digital signal processing). FPGA, each of these courses is very difficult, which can be said that you can't finish it in your life. Of course, there are other basic courses that have nothing to do with majors, such as modern history, Mao Dengsan, college English and so on. And there are elective courses. A major has involved many disciplines. If you are a science and engineering major, I don't recommend that you minor in it, because you can master all the courses in your major (not to mention all the courses, some of them are proficient), which is great.
