More and more college students skip classes, which has aroused widespread concern and criticism in society. Some people think that students should take on more responsibilities. However, others think that teachers should be responsible for this. But I think both students and teachers have their own faults.

Compared with middle school students, college students have more "freedom". If they are not strict with themselves, they are likely to oversleep in the morning, surf the Internet during class hours or find other activities to entertain themselves. In addition, some students have the misconception that work experience is more important than theoretical knowledge when looking for a job. So they are busy with part-time jobs when they should be in class.

On the other hand, some teachers still teach in the old-fashioned way. Their class was so boring that many students fell asleep. Besides, some textbooks are so outdated that they think it is a waste of time to attend classes.

In a word, both students and teachers should be fully aware of this serious problem and make efforts to make use of college time.
