The famous Qifeng stone in Beijing
Peking University-1 This stone is located in the northeast of the former Russian building in Peking University, and it is milky white limestone, commonly known as Taihu Stone.
The stone is 2.00m high,1.10m wide and 0.60m thick. This peak stone was presented by Jiangsu Peking University Alumni Association in 2008 and inscribed by Fei Xiaotong as "Meditation". The stone body is white, with caves and holes of different shapes and sizes on the front, and some holes are connected with the back of the stone body. The back of the stone body is flat, maintaining the original state of the stone body, and there are some striped cavities communicating with the front of the stone body. The base is approximately square, with a height of 0.60m, a length of 0.90m and a width of 0.60m. It is carved from white marble.

This stone of Peking University -2 is placed on the east side of grip Monument in the southeast of the west gate of Peking University. It is gray-black limestone, commonly known as Taihu stone.
The stone is 2.07m high,1.08m wide and 0.70m thick. The shape of this peak stone is similar to an anime character, with "eyes" and "mouth". The back of the stone body is flat with yellowish residue. The bottom of the stone body is filled with gravel and fixed to the ground with cement.

The stones of Peking University -3a and B are placed in the center of a pool in the south of Heminglou, Peking University. They are gray limestone, commonly known as Taihu Stone.
This stone is about 2.50m high, 0.80m wide and 0.60m thick. The stone body is cylindrical. There are horizontal grooves on the front, and there are many round holes of different sizes. The back is relatively flat, with several round holes. The bottom of the peak stone is a cement board, and several small Taihu stones are filled and fixed around the stone body. Taihu stone placed in the pool has this kind of landscape in the small lake of Wanfolou site in Beihai Park and the pool of Su Yuan in Friendship Hotel, but the lithology, size and shape of the stone body are different. Therefore, the peak stone is placed in the center of the pool, and the relevant data is intuitive for reference only.

Peking University -4a and B are gray limestone, commonly known as Taihu Stone and Imitation Violet Flower, which are placed in the north of the former Russian Building of Peking University.
Stone height 1. 14m, width 1.75m and thickness 0.75m.. This stone was copied by Peking University and used to repair violet flowers. The shape and surface morphology of this stone are quite different from the prototype of violet flower, but its original intention is commendable. Especially the base, whether from the quality of stone or the level of carving, is no less than the original violet base. Through this example, it is proved that any single rock cannot be copied. And ancient paintings and handicrafts can be copied, which is the biggest difference between them.

The stone of Peking University -5 is placed next to the trees in the north of Linhuxuan of Peking University. It is gray limestone.
The stone tablet is1.77m high,1.03m wide and 0.25m thick. The stone cap on the top of the monument is 0.30m high,1.48m long and 0.57m wide. This stone was first erected in Linping (now Hangzhou) in the Song Dynasty. Because the poet Sun Fu and the painter Lan Ying have a special liking for the peaks of violet flowers, they collaborated on a poem, which was painted on a stone tablet and stood next to violet flowers. Violet Fight was moved to Yuanmingyuan in Beijing, and 19 15 was moved to Central Park. Mei Shibei moved to Peking University when Tsinghua was founded. Peking University copied a violet flower for this stone tablet, and now the poems and paintings on the stone tablet are blurred.

Peking University -6 Shiping is placed on the slope of the north bank of the Weiming Lake in Peking University, with limestone.
Shiping is 3.00 meters high and 0.95 meters wide. This stone screen was originally a relic of Yuanmingyuan, and later moved to Peking University campus. There is a poem on the wind of Sishiping: "The original painting drips into the apple dike, and the flying building overlooks the willow shade, and the mirror shines in all directions, reflecting on the boundary water of Hong Ying.

Peking University -7a, B is a yellowish fine sandstone placed on the north side of the west side of the second teaching building in Peking University.
Stone height1.62m, length 2.84m and width 2 2. 10/0m. This stone is quadrangular, with cavities of different sizes in the east, west, north and south. It is basically flat in the east, west, north and south, and the Three Gorges monument is engraved in the south. This stone was given to the alma mater by Sichuan alumni of Peking University on the anniversary of the founding of Peking University 1 10. "Three Gorges Stone Tablet": "The mighty Yangtze River, the majestic Three Gorges; Boulders extend and rivers scour. The Three Gorges Stone has experienced hundreds of millions of years of vicissitudes and witnessed the struggle of the Chinese nation. Today, the high gorge is flat, and huge stones lie at the bottom of the river forever. On the occasion of the anniversary of Peking University 1 10, Chongqing alumni presented their alma mater with the Three Gorges Stone excavated before the impoundment of the Three Gorges Project as a symbol of the indomitable spirit of Peking University and the long history of Chinese culture. Peking University -8 is a blue-gray-green miscellaneous stone in the northwest corner of the newly-built science and education building in Peking University.
The stone is 2.60m high, 5.28m wide and1.00m thick. There are random dikes on the surface of the stone. This stone was given to the alma mater by the alumni of Peking University 1 14 1992. The stone tablet is engraved with "sincerity", "Honest people choose good, stubborn people also"

Peking University -9, a stone placed on the east side of the second floor of Peking University Yifu, is silicified wood, commonly known as wood fossil.
Stone height1.65m, width 2 2. 10/0m and thickness1.85m.. This stone is produced in Yixian County, Liaoning Province. This kind of silicified wood is a gymnosperm, with a tree age of over 1,000 years and a diameter of 2 2. 10/0m, which is rare in Beijing. The stone body was placed on a pedestal made of cement.

Peking University-10a, b this stone is placed in the campus of Peking University, and it is basic basalt, commonly known as volcanic rock.
The stone is 0.85m high, 2.08m wide and 0.78m thick. This stone is similar in shape to a reptile. The stone body is grayish brown, and locally it is light brownish yellow due to iron oxidation. The cavity on the stone surface is caused by seawater erosion for many years. This stone was collected by China Antarctic expedition team at Zhongshan Station, Antarctica, China in March 2005.
