I. Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University (Tsinghua for short) was born in 19 1 1. It is named after Tsinghua Campus in the northwest suburb of Beijing, and is based on the "boxer indemnity" returned by the United States. Formerly known as Tsinghua School, the preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the Qing government was renamed Tsinghua School the following year. In order to try to cultivate talents locally, 1925 established the undergraduate department, and 1928 changed its name to "National Tsinghua University". 1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school moved south to Changsha, and jointly established the National Changsha Temporary University with Peking University and Nankai University. 1938 moved to Kunming and changed its name to National Southwest United University; 1946, moved back to the original site of Tsinghua campus to resume school.

Second, Tianjin University

Third, Zhejiang University.

Zhejiang University, referred to as Zhejiang University for short, formerly known as Qiushi College founded by 1897, is one of the earliest modern institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves. 1928 was renamed as National Zhejiang University. During the Republic of China, Zhejiang University grew into one of the top universities in China under the leadership of Zhu Kezhen, and was praised as "Oriental Cambridge" by Needham, a famous British scholar. Zhejiang University is the first batch of 7 "2 1 1 Project" universities in China, the first batch of 9 "985 Project" universities, and a member of China University C9 Alliance, World University Alliance and Pacific Rim University Alliance. It is one of the top universities in China.
