What's the difference between CET-4 and TEM4?
CET-4 and CET-6: All college students can take part. Now grades are based on scores, and there are transcripts no matter how small the scores are. If the score is above 425, you can take CET-6.

TEM examination for English majors: Some schools stipulate that only English majors with bachelor degree or above can take it. English majors are not allowed to take CET-4. (Like our school) Note: College English majors are not eligible to participate in TEM4.

There is another saying: some colleges and universities majoring in English. For example, English majors of Beijing Foreign Studies University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies can also participate.

Difficulty analysis:

Band 4 is much more difficult than Band 4. (My own exam experience) It is widely believed that Band 4 is equivalent to Band 6, but I strongly disagree. Band six is as simple as that. Judging from vocabulary, grammar and writing, CET-4 is n times more difficult than CET-6.

Difficulty and comments on CET-4.

Contrast:

CET-4: No matter how small the score is, you can take the college English test after passing CET-4, and you can take the oral English test with excellent grades. Unlimited participation and infinite resurrection during college.

TEM 4: After passing the exam, there will be a certificate, on which no score will be written, but it will be excellent and qualified. However, there is no such thing. If you can't pass TEM-4, you can join TEM-8. Take part in the second year of junior college, once a year, and have the last make-up exam in junior college, and take part in junior college. If you fail, you can go back to school one year after graduation, just make up the exam once.
