General situation, teaching staff and discipline construction of Huazhong Agricultural University;
School profile:
One of the starting points of higher agricultural education in China. The school's predecessor was Hubei Agricultural School founded by Zhang Zhidong, Governor of Huguang in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, on 1898. After several evolutions, from 65438 to 0952, Huazhong Agricultural College was established in all departments of Agricultural College of Wuhan University, Hubei Agricultural College and some departments of Agricultural College of six comprehensive universities such as Sun Yat-sen University.

There are 3022 faculty members, including teachers 1700, 555 professors and 336 postdoctoral fellows.
