1. Introduction to the College?
The Department of Physics of Jiaotong University was founded in 1928, merged into the School of Science of Jiaotong University in 1930, and changed its name to the School of Science in 1937. Due to the adjustment of departments and schools, the school of science was once closed. 1994, Xi jiaotong university resumed the establishment of the school of science, which is divided into three disciplines: mathematics, physics and chemistry. Among them, mathematics was moved out of the Faculty of Science 20 1 1 due to discipline adjustment. In 2020, colleges will be established for physics and chemistry, and colleges for physics will be established for physics.

Third, personnel training.
In recent years, undergraduate students in colleges and universities have undertaken 3 1 items of "Innovative Training Plan for College Students" at all levels, won 28 first prizes, first prizes and third prizes of the National Challenge Cup for College Students in various disciplines, and published 46 academic papers in important international academic journals. Every year, more than 60% graduates go to Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University and other top universities at home and abroad for further study, and a number of students enter high-tech enterprises to engage in research and development of scientific and technological products.
