It has TRANSTAR planning simulation software, Anylogic discrete and continuous system logic model simulation software, Aimsun macro-and micro-traffic simulation and planning professional edition and network edition, Emme3 traffic planning software, prarmetics intelligent traffic simulation software, VISSIM infinite area micro-simulation of German PTV company, LS_DYNA970e traffic accident simulation platform and so on, and has scientific research foundation. It has initially formed its own traffic system theory and accumulated rich engineering practice experience.

This subject has distinctive research characteristics in the fields of regional and urban traffic planning, traffic control and safety technology, traffic economy, logistics and logistics park planning. It has obvious advantages in regional traffic planning, and has achieved a series of high-level research results in theoretical research such as basic theory of traffic flow and numerical simulation of traffic flow.
