The School of Environment and Civil Engineering of Chengdu University of Technology was developed after 50 years' efforts on the basis of the former Department of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology of Chengdu Institute of Geology. At present, there are five teaching departments (Department of Geological Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering, Department of Engineering Management and Department of Architecture), a basic course teaching and research section (Basic Mechanics), a basic mechanics laboratory and a comprehensive laboratory.
