1, Lanzhou University
Lanzhou University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, which has an important strategic position in the national higher education pattern and has an important influence and good reputation at home and abroad.
Gansu University of Political Science and Law, founded in 1909, is the first modern institution of higher learning in northwest China. 1928, expanded to Lanzhou Sun Yat-sen University. 1946, renamed National Lanzhou University. After the founding of New China, it was identified as one of 14 comprehensive universities in the adjustment of colleges and universities. Since the reform and opening up, it has been selected into "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project" to build universities. In 2002 and 2004, Gansu Grassland Ecological Research Institute and Lanzhou Medical College merged and returned to Lanzhou University. 2. Northwest Normal University
Northwest Normal University is a key university jointly established by Gansu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is also the national experimental base for collaborative innovation of teacher development, the construction base of teachers' morality and style of the Ministry of Education, and the national language and writing promotion base. 3. Lanzhou Jiaotong University
Lanzhou Jiaotong University is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is a teaching and research university with the coordinated development of learning, economics, management, literature and art. It is a university jointly established by China Railway Corporation and Gansu Provincial People's Government, and the State Railway Administration and Gansu Provincial People's Government. Selected as the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" and "Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform" model universities of the Ministry of Education. The current party secretary Di Shengkui and the principal Li Yinzhen. The school motto is "Suntech, inspirational, knowledgeable and practical".
The historical origin of the school can be traced back to Shanhaiguan Beiyang Railway Academy (the predecessor of Tangshan Railway Institute) established in 1896 and Beijing Railway Management Institute (the predecessor of Beijing Railway Institute) established in 1909. 1958 In May, some major departments of Tangshan Railway Institute (now Southwest Jiaotong University) and Beijing Railway Institute (now Beijing Jiaotong University) moved to Lanzhou to form Lanzhou Railway Institute, which is the third railway undergraduate university in China.
