Introduction to College of Science and Technology of Guizhou University The College of Science and Technology of Guizhou University is a comprehensive full-time undergraduate independent college established by Guizhou University and Guizhou Jetstar Flight Attendant Co., Ltd. according to the new mechanism and mode. It is a world-class discipline construction university and a national key construction university of "2 1 1 Project". 2001May was established with the approval of the provincial people's government, and enrollment began in the same year.
College is the national "advanced independent college", the national "grass-roots party organizations strive for Excellence", the national "March 8th Red Flag Collective", the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" advanced collective of education and scientific research, the outstanding college students' social practice team of the Communist Youth League Central Committee, and the vice-president unit of China Independent College Cooperation Association.
At present, there are five professional teaching departments, namely, Literature Department, Law and Public Administration Department, Engineering Department, Business Department and Art Department, and two public teaching departments, namely, Marxism-Leninism and Physical Education. There are Chinese language and literature, journalism, English, law, administration, public management, engineering management, computer science and technology, electronic information science and technology, electronic information engineering, communication engineering, Internet of Things engineering, international economy and trade, finance, business administration, financial management, tourism management, food science and engineering, visual communication design, environmental design, performance and music performance.
There are more than 9 100 full-time undergraduates and 45/kloc-0 full-time teachers, including 4 14 teachers with master's and doctoral degrees, 57 professors and 268 associate professors.
The College has made full use of the high-quality education and teaching resources of Guizhou University, and built various laboratories and training bases such as simulated banking laboratory, financial comprehensive laboratory, hotel simulation laboratory, ERP laboratory, simulated trial, simulated computer room, news laboratory, ETC charging training platform, Internet of Things comprehensive laboratory, smart home training platform and intelligent security training platform.
