La Plata University of Science and Technology (LUT;; ; Finnish: Lappeenna Teknilline Iliopisto (LTY for short) was founded in 1969. The main campus is located 7 kilometers west of lappeenranta, South Karelia Province. It's near Lake Marseille, the largest lake in Finland. /kloc-in the 1940s, in order to revitalize the East, the Finnish government first planned to build a university in Viborg, but because of the winter war, Viborg was forced to be ceded to the Soviet Union. In 1950s and 1960s, Lappeenranta, Kuopio and Joensuu began to build schools. Now the business school of this school was established in 199 1 year.
