The first way out is to stay and work in the village. The second way out is to take the civil service examination. College student village officials can take the civil service examination. Those who meet the requirements after the expiration of employment can enjoy preferential policies such as single plan recruitment and targeted recruitment.

The third way out is independent development. College student village officials can enjoy entrepreneurship training, small loans, information consultation, tax relief and other support policies.

The fourth way out is to choose another job. After the expiration of college student village officials, they can enter the talent market to choose their own jobs; Participate in the recruitment of unemployed (institutions), and those who pass the examination can enjoy preferential policies; Candidates from state-owned enterprises and private enterprises are preferred.

The fifth way out is to continue studying. After the expiration of the service of college student village officials, they can apply for postgraduate or second degree and enjoy preferential policies such as extra points.

Relevant departments in Chongqing and Hainan Province said that local college students "village officials" will be directly converted into civil servants after their term expires. Students enrolled in Tibet are directly civil servants, and students in Fujian will be transferred to Selected Graduates after their term expires.

Most other provincial organs indicated that they would solve the problem of Selected Graduates's way out after his term expires through special recruitment of civil servants, recruitment in Selected Graduates and employment in public institutions.
