What is it that China University of Mining and Technology divides Xuzhou into two campuses?
Xuzhou is divided into two campuses, Wenchang Campus and Nanhu Campus. Wenchang Campus was founded in 1980s, when China Institute of Mining and Technology moved from Sichuan to Xuzhou. With the expansion of university enrollment, the small Wenchang campus can no longer accommodate students' study and accommodation, so a new campus, Nanhu Campus, was built in Xuzhou Nanhu Scenic Area.

From 2004, full-time undergraduate freshmen of University of Mining and Technology began to settle in Nanhu New Campus, when Xu Hai College, an independent college, was newly established in Wenchang Campus.

At present, all full-time undergraduates of the University of Mining and Technology are in Nanhu Campus. Wenchang Campus consists of Xu Hai College (independent college), Applied Technology College (training for coal enterprises), Adult Education College (adult education) and Graduate School (training graduate students). Graduate students will also be stationed in Nanhu campus.

Teacher level: at present, most teachers teach in two campuses, and the teacher level is not much different.

Faculty: At present, the University of Mining and Technology still focuses on cultivating undergraduates, so the students in Nanhu can be regarded as the main force of the University of Mining and Technology. No school will put its main teachers in independent colleges and adult education colleges.

Wenchang Campus was built in 1980s, and the conditions of university dormitories have not been greatly improved. Nanhu Campus is a new campus, and the living conditions are definitely much better than Wenchang Campus.

Welcome people with lofty ideals to apply for China University of Mining and Technology as their first choice.
