Lushunkou Campus of Dalian Jiaotong University is the campus where Dalian Jiaotong University focuses on cultivating five-year dual-major compound talents. After the completion of the first phase project of Lushunkou Campus in 2004, the Institute of Software began to operate independently here. On September 20 10, the second phase of Lushunkou campus was officially put into use, and since then, Lushunkou campus has begun to take shape. Lushunkou Campus invested 629 million yuan, including 200 million yuan in the first phase (formerly Institute of Software) and 429 million yuan in the second phase. The campus covers an area of 756 mu, including 404 mu in Phase I and 352 mu in Phase II, with a total construction area of 250,000 square meters, including Phase I103,500 square meters and Phase II146,500 square meters.
