1. China language and culture

Professional introduction:

To provide comprehensive and high-quality courses for students and overseas Chinese communities who are interested in the history, philosophy, language and related issues of China literature. Students from different schools are welcome to apply. This course will provide Chinese postgraduate training for teachers, editors, journalists and other professionals who use Chinese as the main language medium.

This major has developed into one of the leading China research centers in Southeast Asia. It has played an important role in connecting China's heritage with modern Singapore and promoting the frontier of China studies. China Studies at the National University of Singapore provides effective bilingual training for students from different cultural backgrounds and prepares them for their careers.

The postgraduate degree provides training in specific disciplines through independent investigation, research and experimental work, and finally submits a paper on the research. One or more supervisors will be appointed for each candidate. Candidates must attend the corresponding lectures and written tests.

2. Master of Economics

Professional introduction:

This course is aimed at students who want to gain more in-depth knowledge of advanced economic theory and analytical and quantitative methods. It prepares students for doctoral research in economics and vocational fields, which requires more rigorous advanced economic theory and analysis and quantitative skills training.

The department of economics offers a master's course in economics, which is divided into two directions: career-oriented direction (applied economics) and academic-oriented direction (quantitative economics). Applicants should declare their favorite courses at the time of application and indicate whether they are willing to be considered for other courses. After completing the first semester's preferred courses, students can apply to transfer between the two courses if they meet the requirements of the courses to be transferred. The Master of Science in Business Analysis (MSBA) is a program provided by the Business Analysis Center of the National University of Singapore. It is designed and taught by award-winning scholars from the Business School of the National University of Singapore and the Computer Department of the National University of Singapore.

MSBA National University offers full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years) courses, aiming at promoting experiential learning through the balance between academic rigor and practical application. Students at the National University of Singapore MSBA will have skills such as machine learning, and will stand out in the fields of data analysis in different industries such as finance, retail, information technology, supply chain and health care.

The Department of Architecture of the National University of Singapore has been leading urban design education in Asia since 1998, when MaUD was the first master's program in urban design in Asia and the region.
