The construction of the computing center began at 1982. 1984, the DPS8 mainframe computer system, Gould CAD system and Boolean DPX 2/360 minicomputer system were introduced with loans from the World Bank. From the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, the computing center used these devices to play an important role in teaching and scientific research in our school.
At present, the computer room of the computing center covers an area of about1200m2, with more than 500 microcomputers such as C4 00A, C4 33A, C4 2.4G, C4 2.6G and D820 2.8G, and equipment such as file servers, data servers, video-on-demand servers, disk arrays and corresponding networks.
