I. Introduction
Nanjing Forestry University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a provincial-level key university approved by the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. It is a Class A construction university in the construction peak plan of high-level universities in Jiangsu Province. It is the first batch of world-class discipline construction universities in China. It is a multi-disciplinary university featuring forestry and taking advantages of resources, ecology and environment.
Second, the school spirit.
The school adheres to the motto of "Honesty and Brilliance, Building Trees and Educating People", carries forward the excellent school spirit of "unity, simplicity, diligence and enterprising", takes the grand goal of "Huang Heqing flowing water, turning it into a green hill" and takes cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor as the fundamental task. Now it has developed into a forestry department with the advantage of serving the national ecological civilization construction.
