He is currently the Party Secretary of Three Gorges University.

He has served as deputy director of scientific research department of Gezhouba Hydropower Engineering College, director of management engineering department, dean of management college, assistant to the president of Three Gorges University and vice president of Three Gorges University.

In June 2007, he served as President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Three Gorges University.

2011September served as Party Secretary of China Three Gorges University.
