Hunan Normal University, referred to as "Hunan Normal University", is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Founded in 1938, the school is the first independent normal college for nationalities in China. At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the National Teachers College was merged into Hunan University. 1In August, 953, the national departments were adjusted, Hunan University was abolished, and Hunan Normal University was established. 1984, the school was renamed Hunan Normal University.
