Yanbian University has three campuses, namely, the main campus, the Institute of Science and Technology campus and Hunchun campus.

The Hunchun Campus of Yanbian University is located in Hunchun City, a border window city at the junction of China, Russia and North Korea in the east of China. The total area is 540,000 square meters, and the planned total construction area is 280,000 square meters.
