Guangzhou University, located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is a comprehensive university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a key construction university of high-level universities in Guangdong Province, a national "11plan" university, a double-class key construction university in Guangdong Province and a high-level university construction university in Guangzhou.
Historical background:
The history of the former Guangzhou University can be traced back to the private Guangzhou University founded by 1927, the former Guangzhou Institute of Education founded by 1953, the former Guangzhou Teachers College founded by 1958, the former South China Institute of Architecture (West Campus) founded by 1984 and the former Guangzhou Teachers College founded by 1985.
The school has two campuses, University Town and Guihuagang, with a total campus area of 1880 mu and a total construction area of 885,000 square meters. There are 29,788 full-time undergraduates and 6,083 master's and doctoral students. There are 322 faculty members1person, including 2036 full-time teaching and research personnel.
Except for the majors whose retest scores are determined by Guangzhou University, the retest scores of other majors are implemented according to the "Basic Requirements for Candidates to Enter the Retest in the 2022 National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (Class A Candidates)" published by the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the national line).
The re-examination score line of the special plan of "Retired University Student Soldiers" is the basic requirement of the national line of "candidates who enjoy minority care policy", and the total score is reduced by 5 points (inclusive) according to the reported professional national line score.
