Hebei Medical University, referred to as "Hebei Medical University", is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. It is a key university in Hebei Province, formerly known as Beiyang Medical College.
At present, the school has two campuses (Zhongshan Campus and Jianhua Campus) and five directly affiliated hospitals (First Hospital, Second Hospital, Third Hospital, Fourth Hospital and Stomatological Hospital of Hebei Medical University).
There are 19 secondary colleges (departments) and 28 undergraduate majors, including 4 national majors and 4 provincial majors. 14 specialty was selected as the national first-class undergraduate specialty construction site, and 10 specialty was selected as the provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction site.
The school, formerly known as Beiyang Medical College, was founded in Tianjin, 1894. It is the first government-run western medicine college in modern China. 19 13 was renamed zhili public medical college, 19 15 was moved from Tianjin to Baoding, 192 1 merged with other schools, and was called the medical department of Hebei university.
