1. The main campus of Peking University Headquarters covers an area of 3.39 square kilometers, covering an area of 5,085 mu. It is divided into Yandong Garden, Langrun Garden, Jingchun Garden, Heming Garden, Guanzhong Garden, Weixiu Garden, Chengze Garden, Changchun Garden, Changchun New Garden and Yannan Garden, which are the main parts of the school.

2. When Peking University was founded, Shi Jing University Hall was the first government university in China, the first national university in China and the first comprehensive university in China. It was also the first institution established in China in modern times under the name of "University". Its establishment marks the beginning of modern higher education in China. Peking University gave birth to the earliest modern academic system in China and initiated the earliest university disciplines in China, such as liberal arts, science, social sciences, agriculture and medicine. He was the founder of modern higher education in China.

3. Peking University Changping Campus is a Peking University campus built in 1960s. The campus is located at the foot of Tianshou Mountain, 4 kilometers northwest of Changping County. The campus covers an area of more than 550 mu, and the living teaching building is 60,000 square meters. The campus is 38km away from Peking University Haidian Campus. There is a shuttle bus to take teachers from Peking University to teach every day. In 2007, Peking University made a decision to adjust the functional orientation of Changping Park from education and training to scientific research base. At the end of 2008, the school established Changping Campus Management Office, and built Changping Campus into a scientific research base integrating large scientific installations, an open public scientific research platform, major national scientific research projects and state key laboratories.
