The Medical College of Yangzhou University is located in Yangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city with a long history, rich humanities and beautiful scenery. It is the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the training mode of medical master's degree graduates, and the Ministry of Education can recruit international students for undergraduate medical education (English teaching) in China. It is also the STD prevention and control base of the National Health Commission and the national vocational education teacher training base of the Ministry of Education.
The criminal psychological counseling and drug rehabilitation training base of the Ministry of Justice is also a training center for medical talents, medical services and medical scientific research in this region. The predecessor of the college can be traced back to Subei Health School, which was founded in 1950.
/kloc-0 was upgraded to Yangzhou medical college in 1958, and/kloc-0 was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 1984 with the approval of the former state education commission, and was renamed Yangzhou medical college.
