It is an urgent and arduous strategic task for colleges and universities to improve the level of university culture construction and enhance their core competitiveness. The construction of university culture must serve the scientific development of universities, give full play to its important role, highlight the leading role of university spiritual culture, strengthen the leading role of university academic culture, attach importance to the leading role of university institutional culture, give play to the main role of university behavior culture and strengthen the edifying role of university environmental culture. To strengthen the construction of university culture, we must deal with the relationship between the concept of cultural construction and the concept of running a school, the relationship between inheritance and innovation, the relationship between personality and characteristics, and the relationship between the construction of university culture and serving social development.
