Article 1 All freshmen who are admitted to our school according to the enrollment regulations should go through the registration formalities in our school on the specified date with the admission notice and relevant documents. If you can't report on time due to special reasons, you should ask for leave from the Admissions Office of the Academic Affairs Office of the school in advance. Holidays should generally not last more than two weeks. Those who fail to report for duty without asking for leave or within two weeks after asking for leave will be disqualified.

Second freshmen should go to the school hospital for physical examination within the specified time after reporting. Those who pass the examination are allowed to go through the registration formalities and issue school badges and student ID cards. After examination by the school hospital, those who are found to have diseases that are not suitable for further study will be disqualified from further study; If the short-term treatment can meet the health standards, with the approval of the Academic Affairs Office, the admission qualification can be retained for one year, and the suspension formalities can be completed within two weeks from the date of notification. The medical expenses will be taken care of by themselves, and the students will not enjoy the treatment. If you don't go through the formalities of leaving school within two weeks, your school status will be cancelled. Students who retain the qualification for admission must apply in writing to their college before the end of June of the following year, and attach the health certificate of the hospital at or above the county level. After the re-examination of the school hospital is qualified and the academic affairs office agrees, you can re-apply for admission. Those who fail the re-examination or fail to go through the admission formalities within the time limit will be disqualified.

Article 3 After new students enter the school, the school shall conduct an audit in accordance with the enrollment regulations within three months. Those who pass the re-examination will be registered and formally obtained their school status. Those who do not meet the admission conditions after review will be treated differently by the school according to the situation until the admission qualification is cancelled. Anyone who practices favoritism and malpractice, once verified, will be revoked and returned. If the circumstances are bad, it must be submitted to the relevant departments for investigation.

Registration and leave

Article 4 Each academic year is divided into two long semesters and one short semester. The long semester is usually 18 or 19 weeks (including exams), and theoretical courses, experimental courses and scattered practical teaching links are arranged. Short-term 5 weeks, arrange military training, metalworking practice, production practice, curriculum design and other concentrated practical teaching links, or arrange courses with less hours.

Article 5 Before the start of each semester, students must pay the fees within the specified time and in the way specified by the financial department. Students register with the academic affairs office of their college with the payment receipt and student ID card, and obtain the learning qualification of this semester. The second and third semesters of each academic year are registered in the second semester, and the third semester is not registered separately.

Sixth students are not allowed to participate in various teaching activities of the school without registration. Those who can't report as scheduled for some reason must go through the formalities of asking for leave (sick leave must be certified by a doctor and approved by the school hospital). If you don't register after asking for leave or two weeks after asking for leave, it will be handled as automatic withdrawal.

Seventh students should consciously abide by the study discipline. Those who cannot continue their studies due to illness or other reasons must go through the formalities of asking for leave in advance. Students are required to fill in the leave form when taking leave, and the school hospital certificate should be attached when taking sick leave. Leave within two days must be approved by the class teacher or tutor and reported to the academic affairs department of the college for the record. More than three days (including three days) shall be approved by the dean in charge of teaching, and students can leave school only after taking leave. Students leave school without approval, which is regarded as a violation of study discipline. Personal leave shall generally not exceed two weeks.

Choose a course

Article 8 Classification of courses

The courses of each major are roughly divided into the following two categories:

(1) required course: refers to the basic course that must be taken in this major. The proportion of total class hours is as follows:

70% of science and engineering majors,

75% of medical majors,

60% of liberal arts majors.

(2) Elective courses: courses to expand knowledge are selected by students according to their own needs, interests and hobbies. Elective courses are divided into limited elective courses and arbitrary elective courses. The proportion of total class hours is as follows:

20% of science and engineering majors are limited elective courses, and 10% are elective courses.

Medical majors are limited to elective courses 15% and elective courses 10%.

20% of liberal arts majors are limited elective courses and 20% are elective courses.

Article 9 Credit calculation

Credit is the basic calculation unit to measure students' learning burden, and it also reflects the time required for students to choose courses. The credit value of each course is about 1 credit according to 42.5 hours in and out of class. The calculation method of converting hours into credits by semester is as follows:

(1) Theory class: the ratio of in-class and out-of-class is 1: 1.5, 1 weekly class hours is 1 credit;

(2) Experiment class, physical education class, art class and design class, with 0.5 credits per week 1 class hour;

(3) The practice session is usually one week 1 credit, and if it is conducted for half a day, one semester is 1.5 credit. Work half a day a week, one semester 1 credit;

(4) Elective courses in humanities, social sciences, economics and management, with 2 hours per week as 1.5 credits.

Article 10 Course Selection

(1) See the training plan of each major for the total credits required by each major.

(2) The number and order of elective courses for students shall be subject to the training plan. The credits for long-term elective courses are generally 18 ~ 20 credits, but not less than 12 credits and not more than 28 credits. Short-term practice teaching credits are generally 4 ~ 7 credits. If there are special circumstances, students who want to increase or decrease credits must apply in person, with the consent of the tutor, and with the approval of the Course Selection and Student Status Management Center of the Academic Affairs Office.

(3) Students can choose their own teachers and class hours. The same course, there are many teachers at the same time in one semester, and there are also the same courses that start at different times. Students can choose their own satisfactory teachers and attend classes at their own satisfactory time.

(4) Students can arrange their own learning process. Under the guidance of the tutor, students are allowed to graduate early after completing the credits, and students are also allowed to delay graduation for special reasons (four-year undergraduates are allowed to complete their studies within six years, and five-year undergraduates are allowed to complete their studies within seven years).

(5) Students who enter intensive German classes have a five-year academic system, and the credits required for their elective courses are calculated according to the provisions of the original professional academic year system.

Article 11 courses are exempt.

(1) Students who have mastered a compulsory course stipulated in the training plan through self-study and above, and whose matriculation scores are "medium", can apply for exemption from the examination; If the test-free score reaches "medium" or above, it may be exempted with the approval of the dean in charge of teaching in the starting college.

(2) The following courses or teaching links are not allowed to apply for exemption:

Political theory courses, physical education class, practical teaching links or experiments, design courses and elective courses.

(three) the time and procedure for applying for exemption:

Students who want to be exempted from a certain course should apply for exemption examination before taking the next semester's course at the end of each semester. Students fill in the Application Form for Exemption from Examination (and submit self-study notes, homework and other materials that can prove their self-study), and after the approval of the dean in charge of teaching, they will be submitted to the Open College for review (interview if necessary) and approval, and only after paying the examination fee can they take the exemption examination arranged by the Open College. If the test exemption results meet the requirements in the first paragraph of this article, the test exemption will be started.

Methods of performance evaluation and recording

Twelfth according to the training plan to assess all courses and other teaching links. Only after passing the exam can you get credits for this course, and the test scores and credits are recorded in the student's personal score summary table.

Thirteenth assessment is divided into examination and assessment. The assessment results will be graded according to five grades: excellent, good, medium, passing and failing.

Fourteenth examination course results should be based on the final exam results, but should refer to the usual results; Usually, the grade can account for about 30% of the course grade, which is decided by each teaching and research section.

Test scores are based on students' usual lectures, experiments, internships, homework, exercises and classroom discussions, as well as their usual test scores. Generally, the final centralized test is not used to evaluate.

Article 16 Credits are units of calculation for measuring students' learning. After completing a certain course, students can get credits as long as they pass the exam. The GPA is an index to measure the quality of students' study, which can be used as an important basis for evaluating students' scholarships, minor courses, early graduation and obtaining degrees. Calculation of GPA:

Eighteenth students should take the exam at the specified time and place. If they can't take the exam due to illness or something, they should apply to the teacher for an extension of the exam in advance. With the consent of the teacher and the approval of the dean in charge of teaching in the college where the student is located, the examination can be postponed. The same course can only be postponed once, and at most two courses can be postponed in one semester (except sick leave).

Students who have not studied a certain course are not allowed to take the exam of this course. Even if you take the exam privately, your grades will not be registered and will be punished as a violation of school rules.

Nineteenth compulsory courses, limited elective courses, practical teaching links, students failed in the exam (assessment), should make up the exam; For any elective course, students who fail the exam can retake the original elective course or choose another course to retake it.

The re-examination results are recorded according to the normal results, and the words "re-examination" are not indicated in the summary of students' personal results.

Twentieth students in school, not only to take the in-class teaching test in physical education class, but also to take the "College Students' Physical Education Qualification Standard" test every academic year, which includes students' body shape, physical function, health status, physical education class's in-class teaching test scores, extracurricular physical exercise and so on.

Article 21 Those who can't go to physical education class normally due to physical illness or some kind of physical defect can participate in health care activities arranged by the Ministry of Sports with the school hospital certificate, and those who seriously participate in exercise can be regarded as qualified in physical education class.

Twenty-second within the prescribed time, each course does not limit the number of retakes; If you are not satisfied with the results of your courses, you can retake the exam, and the results will be recorded according to your highest score.

Twenty-third course re-examination should pay re-examination fees to compensate for the increased teaching costs.

Article 24 If the retake course conflicts with other compulsory courses, with the consent of the teacher, the students may not attend classes, which will not affect their participation in the retake course examination.

Twenty-fifth postponed examination courses will be arranged within two weeks after the start of school, and the specific time and place will be determined by the teachers.

Twenty-sixth students absent from the exam, their scores will be counted as "failed", and the words "absent from the exam" will be marked on the report.

Twenty-seventh students who cheat in the exam will be counted as "failing" and will be dealt with according to the Regulations on Punishment of Tongji University Students for Violating School Discipline and Rules, and the words "cheating" will be marked on the report form. After one year, if you don't cheat again, you can retake the course.

Twenty-eighth with the approval of the Academic Affairs Office, the credits obtained by students in other schools will be recognized, and their achievements and credits will be recorded in the students' personal report form, but not in the scores of failed courses. Disciplinary violations in off-campus examinations are still handled according to the Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of Tongji University Students in Violation of School Discipline and Rules.

Twenty-ninth students should drop out of school in any of the following circumstances:

(1) Students have been studying at school for more than two years, no matter what reasons (including suspension, suspension, etc.). );

(2) Failing to go through the formalities for resumption of schooling upon the expiration of the suspension period;

(3) those who fail to return to school after review;

(4) Scholars who should drop out of school due to illness after school mobilization;

(5) Being diagnosed with mental illness, epilepsy and other diseases by a designated hospital;

(6) Accidental disability can no longer persist in learners;

(7) automatically apply for withdrawal;

(8) Those who get married while studying at school.

According to this article, dropping out of school is not a punishment for students.

Thirtieth students who drop out of school shall submit a report by their college, which shall be audited by the Academic Affairs Office and approved by the principal in charge.

Thirty-first students drop out of the aftermath, according to the following provisions:

(1) Students who drop out of school or drop out of school for various reasons will be returned to their parents or caregivers.

(two) diagnosed with mental illness or suffering from diseases that should be suspended from school (including accidental disability), their parents or guardians will take it back.

(3) issue a certificate of withdrawal for students who have dropped out of school, and issue an associate degree certificate according to the number of years of study (at least one year of study). Without the approval of the school, students who leave school without authorization will not be issued with suspension certificates and withdrawal certificates.

Suspension, suspension and resumption of school

Thirty-second students should drop out of school under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Those who are diagnosed by a designated hospital due to illness and need to stop classes for treatment and rest, accounting for more than one third of the total class hours in one semester;

(2) according to attendance, one semester is absent from class due to leave for more than one-third of the total class hours of the semester;

(3) For some special reason, the school thinks that scholars must be dismissed.

Article 33 A student's suspension period is generally one year (with the approval of the school due to illness, he can be suspended for two years in a row), and the cumulative period shall not exceed two years.

Thirty-fourth issues related to students' suspension from school shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Students who drop out of school due to illness should go home to recuperate. Enjoy free medical care for one year during sick leave, and if you need to take sick leave continuously in the second year, stop free medical care from the second year, and pay for your own medical expenses.

During the period of enjoying free medical care, you should see a doctor in the local public hospital, and reimburse the school medical and drug expenses within the designated scope of free medical care with the official documents of the hospital.

(2) Students drop out of school and go home, and the round-trip travel expenses are self-care.

(3) The accounts of students who have dropped out of school do not move out of school.

Thirty-fifth students have to drop out of school because of special difficulties, but they do not meet the conditions for suspension. Upon my application and approval by the school, I can suspend my studies and keep my school status. Those who fail to go through the formalities of resumption of study after the expiration of the retention period will be disqualified. Students who drop out of school do not enjoy the treatment of students in school and students who drop out of school.

Thirty-sixth students studying abroad at their own expense may apply for retaining their school status for one year and go through the formalities in accordance with relevant regulations.

Thirty-seventh students who retain their admission qualifications, suspend their studies, retain their academic status or suspend their studies must go through the formalities of suspension immediately after approval and leave the school within two weeks (they must be hospitalized within two weeks after discharge).

Thirty-eighth schools are not responsible for students' retention of admission qualifications, suspension from school or accidents during their suspension from school.

Thirty-ninth students to resume school in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Students who drop out of school due to illness should send the diagnosis certificate and relevant physical examination materials from hospitals at or above the county level to the school hospital one month before the expiration of the suspension period, and after being audited by the school hospital, they will issue a review notice and come to the school for review at the specified time. Those who pass the examination will be notified by the Academic Affairs Office to resume their studies.

(2) Students who retain their academic status must apply to their college one month before the expiration of the semester, and can only resume their studies with the consent of the dean in charge of teaching and the approval of the Academic Affairs Office.

(3) Students who have dropped out of school and retained their school status are not allowed to attend classes before going through the formalities of resuming their studies.

(4) In principle, students returning to school study in the lower grades of the original school year. If there is no enrollment in this major in the second year, they will be transferred to a similar major arranged by the school.

(5) For students who apply for resumption of study, the school also needs to conduct political review. During the period of suspension, if there are serious violations of law and discipline, the qualification for reinstatement will be cancelled.

Fortieth students who cancel their school status or drop out of school may not apply for resumption of study.

Transfer from major to school

Forty-first students do have expertise, and those who can give full play to their expertise after changing majors may be allowed to change majors. Students who change majors must meet the following basic conditions:

(1) Students who have been in school for half a year and are not in Grade 3 or above;

(2) Never changed majors;

(3) Complete the credits specified in the guiding arrangement in the original professional training plan, with an average GPA of 3.3 or above.

Article 42 The procedures for changing majors are as follows:

(1) At the beginning of the second semester of each academic year, each college shall report to the Academic Affairs Office the number of students who can accept transfer according to the conditions and abilities of the college.

(2) Students apply to their college at the beginning of June every year. In mid-June, each college will submit the list of agreed majors to the Academic Affairs Office, which will forward it to the relevant colleges to accept their opinions on whether or not to admit them, and return to the Academic Affairs Office in late June.

(3) Students changing majors in the college shall be examined and approved by the dean in charge of teaching in the college and reported to the Academic Affairs Office for the record; Students who change majors across colleges shall be examined and approved by the Academic Affairs Office.

(4) In the first week of the next academic year, the Academic Affairs Office will notify the relevant colleges in writing of the list of all students who have been allowed to change majors (including those who have changed majors in colleges). Students who are allowed to change their majors should register with the notice of the Academic Affairs Office.

Forty-third students transferred to the major, the original credits meet the requirements of the transfer to the professional training plan, after the transfer to colleges and academic affairs office confirmed, to be recognized; Those who do not meet the requirements will be recorded as elective courses.

Article 44 Changing majors in the following situations is a special case and is not restricted by the above conditions:

(1) Students who are found to have a certain disease or physical defect after entering school and can study in other majors after being certified by the medical unit designated by the school;

(2) with the approval of the school, students have special difficulties and cannot continue their studies without changing their major.

If the above-mentioned students change majors, the students themselves will apply and their colleges will make suggestions. After being audited by the Academic Affairs Office and approved by the principal in charge, they will be arranged to study in a major suitable for their continued study.

Article 45 According to the reform of graduates' employment system and the change of social demand for talents, the school may appropriately adjust the majors of some students when necessary.

Forty-sixth students need to apply to their college in person, recommended by the school, and transfer after approval by the school. After being approved by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission or transferred to the education commissions of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), the relevant procedures can be handled.

Article 47 Students shall be comprehensively appraised upon graduation, including moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects.

Forty-eighth students with school status, who have completed all the courses specified in the training plan, passed the examination and obtained the required credits, are allowed to graduate and issued with graduation certificates. Those who meet the requirements of the Detailed Rules for the Granting of Bachelor's Degree in Tongji University shall be awarded a bachelor's degree.

No academic certificate of any kind may be issued to students who have no academic status.

Article 49 All students who want to graduate early should apply to their college one semester before graduation, and report to the Academic Affairs Office for examination and approval after the approval of the dean in charge of teaching.

If students need to extend the academic system, they should apply to their college six months in advance, and report to the Academic Affairs Office for approval after the approval of the dean in charge of teaching.

Students who extend the academic system will be charged according to credits during the extension period, and the school will no longer be responsible for providing accommodation.

Fiftieth students who have not completed all the credits stipulated in the training plan and no longer continue to study in school, and have obtained more than 90% (including 90%) of the required credits, shall be issued with a certificate of completion; Those who do not reach 90% of the required credits will be awarded an associate degree certificate.

Fifty-first graduates who have not missed the examination or violated the examination discipline during their stay at school may apply to the school for re-examination within the prescribed time limit (six years from the date of admission for four-year students and seven years for five-year students). Those who can obtain the required credits after approval may apply for renewal of their graduation certificates. Those who meet the conditions for conferring a degree may be awarded a bachelor's degree. The signature date of renewal of graduation certificate or degree certificate shall be filled in according to the renewal time.

Article 52 If a diploma or degree certificate is lost for some reason, it will not be reissued.

Article 53 The Academic Affairs Office shall be responsible for the interpretation and implementation of these Provisions.

Fifty-fourth these Provisions shall come into force as of the date of adoption of the principal's office meeting. Where other provisions conflict with these Provisions, these Provisions shall prevail.
