No matter how many subjects students fail in a school year, they need to take make-up exams. Students who fail to take the exam due to illness or other special reasons are allowed to make up the exam. Students who violate discipline in the examination may be allowed to make up the examination after criticism and education. Make-up exams are usually arranged within two weeks of the start of school. The scope, difficulty and grading standard of the test questions should be the same as that of the academic year exam.
Those who fail the make-up exam three times fail to repeat the exam, and those who fail the make-up exam cannot get a degree certificate. Some schools allow students who fail the make-up exam to apply for a second interview before graduation.
