The total collection of books is 3,348,700 volumes, including paper books 1.4977 million volumes, e-books 55 1 10,000 volumes, e-journals 654,380,300 volumes and 4 1 important databases at home and abroad (as of the end of 2004, 1). Literature covers agriculture, engineering, literature, science, economy, commerce, law, art, sports and other disciplines, with tropical and subtropical agricultural science and biological science being the most abundant. China has a rich collection of ancient agricultural historical documents and is the storage unit of FAO publications.

By June 30th, 20 13, the total library literature resources reached 748130,000 volumes, including 23 1.5 1.000 volumes of paper literature and 5166,200 volumes of electronic literature. Literature resources cover agriculture, engineering, literature, science, law, economics, management, health, art and other disciplines, and initially formed a multi-disciplinary and multi-carrier literature guarantee system featuring tropical and subtropical agricultural sciences and biological sciences.
