From July 20065438 to February 2004, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow in data transfer unit and was hired as an assistant professor.
From June 2005 to April 2006, he worked as an associate researcher at Bristol University.
As a major researcher, I participated in three major IST projects in the European Union, namely:
Storace: The research topic is orthogonal modulation optical label switching;
Lasagna: research on label exchange and letterhead recognition based on MZI-SOA;
MUFINS: Study the design, process manufacturing and all-optical information processing application of MZI-SOA.
Some groundbreaking achievements have been made, such as:
The 40Gb/s RZ-DPSK /IM optical label transmission link is realized for the first time.
The multi-hop transmission of IM/FSK optical marking mode and the complete network node function are realized for the first time.
In June 2006, he joined Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a senior talent and was promoted to professor and doctoral supervisor. Joined Fudan University in June 2008. The main research directions are optical packet switching networks, all-optical information processing and advanced modulation methods.
Published more than 0/00 papers/kloc-,among which SCI was cited by others for more than 220 times.
He is a member of American IEEE, and has served as a long-term reviewer of internationally renowned journals such as Journal of Light Wave Technology, IEEE Photonics Technology Express, Electronics Express, Optical Engineering and Optical Network Journal.
As the second inventor, he applied for two American patents.
He was invited to give a special report at the famous international optical communication conference, the 2003 ECOC European optical communication conference, the 2004 LEOS American laser optoelectronics conference and the 2003 SPIE International Association of Optical Engineers laser optics conference, and made more than 20 reports at the international optical communication conferences in Europe and the United States.

He was invited to be selected into the Who's Who of America, and served as a member of technical committees such as APOC08 and ICAIT09, and a member of the organizing committee of APOC09.
