Technical secondary school. According to official website of Nanyang Traditional Chinese Medicine School, the predecessor of Nanyang Traditional Chinese Medicine School was Yunyang Traditional Chinese Medicine School in Henan Province. After the school moved to Nanyang, it merged with the former Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was renamed Nanyang School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In August, 2000, state administration of traditional chinese medicine named this school as a key college of Chinese medicine. On the integration of educational resources, in May 2006, Nanyang Municipal Government decided to entrust Nanyang Medical College to manage Nanyang Traditional Chinese Medicine School, making Nanyang Traditional Chinese Medicine School a school.
