Brief Introduction of School of Public Administration of Zhejiang University
School of Public Administration of Zhejiang University was established in July 2005, which came into being at an important juncture of the transformation of China's economic growth mode and social development mode. The first principal of the school was Professor Yao. Adhering to the concept of "taking the world as our responsibility and taking the truth as our goal", the college is committed to cultivating loyal, determined and capable leaders, and strives to build itself into a first-class and world-renowned public administration college in China. The college consists of seven departments, including government management department, land management department, urban development and management department, social security and risk management department, information resource management department, political science department and sociology department, Ministry of Education 1 strategic research base, Ministry of Civil Affairs 1 strategic research base, two key research bases of philosophy and social sciences in Zhejiang Province, and university-level research institutes 10. 1 1 School-level interdisciplinary research centers, including MPA Education Center of Zhejiang University, Continuing Education Center of School of Management of Zhejiang University, Civil Servant Training Center of School of Management of Zhejiang University, and Management Training Center of Zhejiang University. At present, the college has formed a complete teaching system and interdisciplinary academic research platform for doctoral, master's and professional degree education, undergraduate and continuing education. The college has 0/35 faculty members, including 50 professors (researchers), 49 associate professors (associate researchers) and 36 lecturers (research assistants). There are 48 doctoral supervisors and 86 master supervisors.
