Brief introduction of Wu da
Wuhan University, referred to as "Wu Da" for short, is a full-time undergraduate college directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. Founded in 1893, it is one of the earliest modern institutions of higher learning in China.
There are 48 colleges covering many disciplines, including arts, science, engineering, medicine, economics, law, education, management, art, philosophy, agriculture and information management.
1, school history and honor
The predecessor of Wuhan University is Hubei Normal School of honghu city Disaster Relief Committee, which was founded in 1893. It is one of the earliest independent institutions of higher learning in China. After several renaming and development stages, it was officially renamed Wuhan University on 1928, and quickly rose to become one of the important comprehensive universities in China.
Wuhan University has made many outstanding achievements in scientific research and personnel training, and is known as a "Millennium University and a century-old prestigious school".
