The three sequences of "excellent athletes", "excellent coaches" and "excellent groups" are recommended by nearly 100 nominating units, and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Certified Public Accountants is responsible for mailing, recycling and counting nomination forms, and then determining the final list through relevant recommendation processes.

The "Special Contributor" sequence was organized by the Hall of Fame Committee to perform relevant procedures. As a "Special Contributor", Mr. Gong Peishan was nominated as a candidate for the China Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.
