Brief introduction of Nantong University School of Law and Politics
The School of Law and Politics of Nantong University was founded in June 2004 on the basis of the former Department of Law and Politics of Nantong Normal University, the former Department of Social Sciences of Nantong Institute of Technology and the former Department of Social Sciences of Nantong Medical College. There are two authorized points for master's degree: the basic principles of Marxism and ideological and political education. There are three undergraduate majors: ideological and political education (normal university), social work and public management (medical law), with 463 full-time undergraduates. There are seven teaching and research sections, including philosophy, economics, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, law, sociology, ideology and morality, and modern history of China. There are two university-level Soviet development research institutions and Jianghai Civic Morality Institute, which undertake the academic publication "Soviet Forum".
