The management and funding of public education institutions depends on the provincial government or the Buenos Aires municipal government. On the other hand, private educational institutions are funded by foundations and related organizations and get funds through tuition fees. However, when the tuition fees charged by private normal schools are low, they can also receive government subsidies.

No matter public or private universities, teaching, supervision and management are very strict. Public universities are relatively independent. The Ministry of Education regularly conducts strict evaluation and audit of private universities. All diplomas and degrees obtained by students are filed and recognized by the Ministry of Education. Argentine universities are not ranked, and the diplomas and academic qualifications of each university are exactly the same. The curriculum of private universities is closer to the actual employment in some aspects. And the diploma obtained is internationally recognized.
