Sichuan Normal University is a key university in Sichuan Province, one of the first national universities to implement the "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest", and a national model university to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education. It is the earliest university in Sichuan Province that holds undergraduate normal education and has the longest running history among normal universities.

It is about 8 kilometers away from Shizishan Campus of Sichuan Normal University. The Jackie Chan Campus of Sichuan Normal University is adjacent to Jackie Chan Avenue in the south, Automobile City Avenue in the east, Longcheng Avenue in the west and Taishan Road in the north, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. It is the largest and most functional campus of Sichuan Normal University.
