1. Beijing Sport University
Beijing Sport University, referred to as Beijing Sport University for short, is directly under the State Sports General Administration. It is the first batch of national key institutions identified by the State Council after the founding of New China, the "2 1 1 project" national key construction institution, the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China, the first batch of "discipline innovation and intelligence introduction plan for colleges and universities" and "national postgraduate plan for building high-level universities".
The school was founded in 1952, and the opening ceremony was held in 1953. Formerly known as Central Institute of Physical Education, 1956 was renamed Beijing Institute of Physical Education, and 1993 was renamed Beijing Sport University.
2. Chengdu Institute of Physical Education
Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, referred to as "Adult" for short, is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, adjacent to the famous historical site Wuhou Temple. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning established by the State Sports General Administration and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and mainly managed by Sichuan Province. It is also the national social sports instructor training base and the foreign aid coach training base of the State Sports General Administration.
Chengdu Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1942, formerly known as Sichuan Institute of Physical Education. In 1950, the people's government took over and renamed it Chengdu Institute of Physical Education. 1953 The whole system was transformed into Southwest Institute of Physical Education, 1956 Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, 196 1 merged Chongqing Institute of Physical Education. The school was originally affiliated to the State Sports General Administration, and 200 1 was placed under the local government. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning established by the State Sports General Administration and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and mainly managed by Sichuan Province.
3. Shanghai Institute of Physical Education
Shanghai Institute of Physical Education is the earliest sports institution of higher learning established after the founding of New China. Founded in June 1952+ 1 1, it was originally named East China Institute of Physical Education, and was formed by the merger of Nanjing University, Jinling Women's University and the Physical Education Department of East China Normal University. 1956 was renamed as Shanghai Institute of Physical Education; 20 17 was selected as the first batch of "double first-class" world-class discipline construction universities and the construction sequence of high-level local universities in Shanghai. The college was directly under the State Sports General Administration. In June, 20001year, the State Council decided to transfer to Shanghai Institute of Physical Education, which was established by the State Sports General Administration and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.
Shanghai Institute of Physical Education is a China government scholarship qualification school and a pilot school designated by the Ministry of Education to independently recruit foreign students with China government scholarships. It is affiliated to the Sports Industry Branch of China Sports Science Society, Wushu and National Traditional Sports Branch of China Sports Science Society, and Sports Health Science Branch of China Gerontology and Geriatrics Society. It is one of the earliest physical education institutions in China to obtain the master's degree (198 1 year) and the right to confer doctoral degrees (1986). It is a "national high-level sports reserve talent base", and the national middle and long-distance running youth team has settled in the school, which is the only national sports university science park in China.
