Monash College of Art and Design is the creative center of the university and the place where creative arts gather. The university is one of the few educational institutions in Australia, offering all major courses in art and design in one department, from applied art to industrial design, interior architecture, graphic design and multimedia digital art.

Recommended major:

1. industrial design (research and develop the design of industrial products used by consumers and people. Range from industrial equipment to transportation facilities, from medical equipment to home applications, very comprehensive)

2. Graphic design (suitable for students who want to work as graphic designers in corporate image design, publishing, advertising, packaging, digital media, illustration, information design, television, interactive media and other fields)

3. Multimedia (various research backgrounds needed by multimedia industry are prepared for graduates, and the courses are provided by the Department of Art and Design and the Department of Information Technology. You don't need a professional background in art or design to choose this major.
